Who is visiting your website and how can you utilise this information? Google Analytics answers these questions, making it one of the most powerful tools available to businesses.

This practical, hands on workshop will show you who is visiting your website and what they are looking for. This free tool is particularly important if you are targeting foreign markets as you can see clearly who to target, whether your marketing strategies are working, and which areas of your website are attracting attention.

The Department for International Trade East of England has teamed up with SocialB for a 3-hour session designed for anyone new to, or rusty on Google Analytics. A maximum of 12 places ensures a supportive and practical session.

What will you learn?

• Who your website audience is and how they interact with your website
• How to set goals for your website
• How to track campaigns and measure the effectiveness of advertising
• How to create customised reports and dashboards

Why should you attend?

Understanding and utilising Google Analytics is critical to creating a website which drives sales and increases the visibility of your company, particularly when starting to explore overseas opportunities. This workshop will provide you with the tools and knowledge to create informed marketing strategies to grow and expand your business.

To attend this workshop, you will need:

A fully charged laptop
Google Analytics login details for your website
To have had Google Analytics running on your website for at least the past six months
This course is not suitable for agencies or intermediaries. In situations where many companies wish to attend, only one representative from each company will be able to attend.

Digital Strategy & Development Lead, SocialB

At SocialB, I work as the Digital Strategy & Development Lead. This involves working alongside my colleagues to help develop our new clients’ strategies whilst maintaining my own hands-on SEO, PPC and CRO client work, and helping to develop SocialB’s technologies (e.g. implementing automation tools, researching new analytics tools, setting and measuring company KPIs, etc).

My favourite thing about working for SocialB is the open and flexible working environment, no idea is too ambitious or outside the box to bring to the table!

Throughout my 4 years of working in digital marketing, I’ve worked with a wide range of businesses, from 4×4 parts & accessories to builders merchants to daylighting system retailers. Having worked on over half a dozen E-commerce websites and over a dozen lead generation websites, my experience ranges from the niche to the traditional, both big and small, national and international. I am also fully Google and Bing-qualified.
