Ten leading agritech start-ups from across the world will participate in a four-month programme offering space, mentoring and the opportunity of investment through the 2019 Pearse Lyons Accelerator initiative.

Start-ups will have the opportunity to present at an agribusiness conference where they will pitch to potential customers, investors, journalists and other thought leaders within the agri-business industry.

The funding provider, Alltech, will allocate €15,000 to ten companies to cover travel, accommodation and living expenses throughout the programme. Upon completing the accelerator, start-ups may pitch for equity investment. Successful businesses will also receive ‘perks’ that are valued at over €300,000.

Applications are welcome from science and agritech start-ups from around the world with proven technology.

The deadline for applications is 7 December 2018.

The accelerator programme will operate from February to May 2019 at the CHQ Building in Dublin.
