SELEP COVID-19 Business Recovery Survey Report

Towards the end of the UK’s first lockdown, SELEP undertook a Business Recovery survey to understand the ongoing pressures on businesses and how the new measures and guidance was affecting activities, not just in the short term but also for future planning and operations.

We invited businesses from across the South East area to complete the survey, giving them an opportunity to ensure that their views directly inform government thinking and their next steps and any future investments and programmes Government or South East LEP may develop, with partners across the South East to support our business communities.

You can find the full insights from this survey in the link below.

At the beginning of the first lockdown in March 2020, to understand more about how Coronavirus, and the government’s response to the crisis, has impacted businesses in our area, we invited businesses from across the South East area to complete a short survey.

Below you will find a snapshot of the results collated, outlining how businesses in the SELEP area (East Sussex, Essex, Kent, Medway, Southend and Thurrock) were dealing with the Coronavirus crisis at the time, as well as the worries and concerns they were facing.
