ACCELERATE 2: How to Build a Business – Business Plans & Practical Tips

Join us at Innovation Centre Knowledge Gateway to learn everything you need to know to get your business off the ground.

This half-day workshop will cover:

• Building a robust business plan using the Business Model Canvas
• Setting up a registered business
• Legal & tax considerations
• Find out about local support programmes available to you

This workshop will be supported by the Federation for Small Businesses, experts in all aspects of business support for early stage companies.

Business planning will be led by Kathryn White, Innovation Director at ICKG, with global experience of supporting startups and SMEs.

Legal specialists will take you through all the practical considerations you need to consider as you start your business.

This event is part of the ACCELERATE workshop series, where we take you through all of the key skills business founders need to succeed, from IDEA to EXIT. Workshops will be run monthly and can either be attended as a series, or as standalone events.
