South Essex Institute of Technology (SEIoT) & Balfour Beatty

• Next up, Jayne Sheehan, Vice Principal Innovation at South Essex College and Partner of the South Essex Institute of Technology (SEIoT) will outline the innovative work being carried out by the Institute to develop the talent and skills utilised in industry through their work in collaborating with employers and supporting the technology-driven economy in the South East.

• In tangent, Stuart Graham, Employment & Skills Manager at Balfour Beatty, one of the worlds leading infrastructure contractors who will present the current landscape and the exciting partnership work they are doing with the SEIoT for their recently announced contract to deliver the next stage of the roads north of the Lower Thames Crossing.

UK Power Network

• This is followed by energy sector specialists Michael Horwood and Bill D’Albertanson from UK Power Network. With wide speculation of energy prices likely to rise again this winter, don’t let your business operations become at risk. Basildon Pride

• Last up, we have David Burton Sampson, Chair of Basildon Pride and Owner of DBS Financial Solutions. Basildon Pride was founded in 2018 before formally becoming a charity in 2021.Their mission is to provide support to members of the LGBTQ+ Community in the Basildon Borough and surrounding areas as well as driving greater acceptance from the wider community. Discover their newly launched Basildon Pride Everyday programme, which is set to significantly expand over the coming year, giving local businesses many opportunities to get involved for the benefit of the community and their workforce.
