Hi3 Network Innovation Hour is a series of events in which businesses registered to the project can join future-thinking conversations and gain industry insight to the future of moving-image production.
In this edition, Hi3 Network is joined by Emma Turner of ScreenSkills to discuss the future of virtual production and what it means for small-medium businesses working across arts and creative industries.
Emma’s background is that of a creative scripted Executive and Producer, working both in-house and with client production companies, distribution teams and local producers across the globe, namely Fremantle (as SVP Global Drama), Sony, EndemolShine, Fox and HBO Europe. She has vast experience working in development and production, and on maximising collaboration, co-production and shared creativity within the scripted community.
Emma joined ScreenSkills at the end of 2019 where she is the head of the strategy and implementation of Continuing Professional Development training for Film, focusing heavily on the emergence and adoption of Virtual Production, which will have a seismic impact on how we all work. She works closely with colleagues within ScreenSkills, external Training Providers, Screen Industry employers and individual professionals to ensure our workforce maintains their world class skills and we avert critical gaps and shortages in the booming UK screen Industr
This event will be an interactive conversation with the ability for those attending to ask questions at any stage and share their own experiences and challenges with this technology.
