Helen will share what social value means in practice for small and medium sized businesses. With more emphasis placed on social value in the public sector, Helen will explain the importance of including social value in the bidding process and how smaller businesses must be able to provide the social, economic and environmental benefits of their plans.

Small and medium-sized businesses in Harlow that want to learn more about the social value requirements and expectations from larger business and organisations in the bid process.

I enjoy life and like to live it to the full. I am honest, motivated and take great pleasure in making a difference in a positive way.
I take a pride in supporting the communities in which I live and work in. I am an Enterprise Advisor, STEM Ambassador and Fairness, Inclusion and Respect Ambassador and a #IamRemakable Facilitator. I chair the sector skills group for NALEP and chair the SELEP skills advisory board.

By car:
The Redchurch Brewery is easy to get to and is just off River Way in Harlow. At Harlow Mill Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Edinburgh Way/A414At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto River Way, turn left, then turn left again and you will have reached the venue
By Train:
The train line you need to get to the venue is Greater Anglia. You will need to get off at the Harlow Mill train station and walk 21 minutes to your destination, so it is recommended you try and reach the venue by car. There is on-site parking at the venue
