Who is the speaker?

Fred Thomas – Business Support Facilitator for the TALE Scheme

Fred spent 3 years as a Growth Hub Navigator, advising business across Kent and East Sussex.  This included providing access to support networks, sharing specialist knowledge, together with financial and grant application expertise.

Fred established and ran a multimillion-pound turnover company for 15 years.  His key strength in Sales and Marketing encompassed both physical retail outlets and a pan-UK sales force, as well as e-commerce platforms.  His digital skills include the use of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and analytics, with a keen interest in Big Data, Cyber Security and The Internet of Things.

In his current role at TALE, Fred spends his days offering advice to business managers, pinpointing opportunities and preparing growth plans including grants.
